Jerry Springer: Yankee fan of the day

We are winning the hearts and minds of America's celebrities.

THE DAYS OF BUSH/CHENEY/DAMON/AFFLECK ARE OVER.

From the Boston Globe.

Famous tawdry talk-show host Jerry Springer will be at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods for a three-week run, but don't expect him to bring any controversial material with him. Springer will be in New England to host the family-friendly tour of ``America's Got Talent,'' which is much different than the long-running ``Jerry Springer Show,'' a parade of cheaters and shocking paternity tests.

``Here, it's all friendly,'' Springer said of ``Talent.'' ``Everyone's rooting for everyone else. This is a dream.'' Springer said he's hoping to get a crowd from Boston at the Connecticut shows, despite the fact he follows the wrong team. ``It's kind of tough because I'm a Yankees fan,'' he admitted, sheepishly.
