The league average is 28 percent. Meaning we go from a catcher who is 25 percent BETTER than the league at catching runners, to one who is 21 percent WORSE.
Even figuring in the passed balls, that doesn't help much. And when it comes to getting a better game out of the pitchers...

As for players getting along with Boone, I keep getting the notion that Joey Binders lit a fire under Sanchez and got results. Even if it meant embarrassing someone. As for Boone, he's so passive that he couldn't light a cigarette lighter under anyone.
