Virtual Baseball: Yanks Fall Disastrously behind Chicago Rainbow Sans Sox. All Hope Lost!

From the desk of HoraceClarke66...

The Yankees were counting on a big game from starter J.A. Puffenstuff Happ today, but were once again sadly disappointed.

“Why would you count on a big game from Happ ever again?” asked a passing old timer, who was promptly told to pipe down and mind his own beeswax.

Happ surrendered a long home run to Jose Abreu, and a short home run to Yoan Moncada, just the start of the cycle Moncada would hit for against Happ and the usual array of idiots Yankee relievers.  The final score was 8-2, but that does not even slightly reflect what an absolute runaway the game was.

“The Yanks are done,” claimed Mike Brosseau, who was glad just to see the Bombers lose, and stood outside Yankee Stadium singing “New York, New York” for several hours afterward.  “No way they’re coming back from this one, uh-uh, fahgedaboutit.”
