Those of you who may have heard that it was so wonderful to walk on the field should consider the tens of thousands of us who were deprived of this opportunity by the absolutely poor, actually non-existent, managment of the on-field exercise. We were there just around 1 and were herded like cattle, without any significant direction or information, on a trail of tears throughout the stadium -- from the field level up to the tier, across the tier from left field to right field, down to the loge all the way back to left field, and then back toward right and up to the tier again, only to walk across the tier toward left. The on-field exercise was stopped at 3:40 (not 4:00) and in my estimation only around 1000 people ever got on the field. No one moved anyone along and as those priviledged few who somehow cut to the front or were herded ahead of thousands of us hardly moved around the warning track while tens of thousands stood on mind-numbing lines for nothing. No announcements, no information, no movement. To say this was disappointing would be an understatement. We never even made it to Gate 2 on the tier by the time the gates to the field were closed in spite of being on line on the field level before 1:30. What a horrible, horrible job and giving "fans" this opportunity. All they had to do was give directions or information, and move people along so the rest of us could have this oppornity that only VERY FEW obtained. The Yankees should be ashamed of how this was mishandled.

That sentence may possibly be the best way to describe the feeling of this morning.

Quit complaining you fucking douchebag.
Maybe if you weren't poor, you would have walked the warning tracks with the rich white folks like me.
Get used to the back of the line; wait till the new place opens next April. You won't even be able to afford parking there.
