Kei Igawa Named Scranton-Wilkes Barre Pitcher of the Year

Over the weekend, the former IIHIIFIIc Yankee Employee of the Month won an almost equal honor: The Coveted Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankee Farm Club Pitcher of the Year Award, known as the "Scranty."

He then shut down fearsome Pawtucket, the International League's most powerful line-up, for seven innings in the big playoff game.

Over his last 10 starts, according to some guy on a message board -- which means we should trust it without hesitation (in honor of this year's Presidential race) -- he has gone 6-2 with an ERA of 3.15.

Expect to hear a lot more about this up-and-coming Yankee youngster!
