All-Star Yanks Continue Mastery of Substandard Teams

The question still remains: Can we ever beat a good team?

It's not as if we played California last night.

Other points:

1. Once again, the Yanks' Ted Lilly trade returns to haunt. He was on their side. If we still had Lilly, some NL player's coconut would have gotten a dent after Jeet got hit.

2. While log-rolling with Jack Buck's kid, Obama made reference to Mark Buerhle's last start. Wow, he must really follow baseball. When I tour Uganda, Russia and Outer Slovovia, I forget to check scores. He must have an opinion about what's wrong with Edwar Ramirez down in Scranton.

3. Roy Halladay? What a bum. I hope Toronto doesn't seriously expect to get much for him. Too bad we already traded Karstens.

Jack Buck's kid? Oh, you mean Artie Lange's friend! The one who has a controversial subscription to superco*ksuckers.com? I remember now.
