This news should take some of the sting off the Oneonta story. Todd pitched in six games (9 innings) for Oneonta. Now one of Oneonta's own is a Hall of Famer.

He retired after one season of pro ball (1987) that was split between the Yankee team in the Gulf Coast League and Oneonta.

An 18-year old Bernie Williams (IIH Yankee of the Decade Outfielder) and current Yankee pitching coach Dave Eiland were also members of the 1987 Oneonta Yankees.
