THIS GUY IS OUT OF HIS MIND........ SELECTIVE THINKING........ THE BAD CASHMAN DEALS DWARF, AND I MEAN, DWARF, THE BETTER ONES........ NO MENTION OF JAVIER VASQUEZ (TWICE), THE MIKE LOWELL DISASTER, THE GARY SHEFFIELD SHIT BOMB, THE JONATHAN ABALADEJO HORROR, THE HORRID SIGNINGS OF CARL PAVANO, JARET WRIGHT, LATROY HAWKINS, FELIX HEREDIA, STEPHEN DREW, CHASE HEADLEY, VERNON WELLS, PRONK, ANDREW JONES, AND ON AND ON AND ON......WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME, BUT WITH EL DUQUE'S HELP, WE CAN JUST KEEP RATTLING OFF DISASTROUS DEALS, ONE AFTER ANOTHER........ THE CHAPMAN DEAL WASN'T A STROKE OF GENIUS..... IT WAS AN OPPORTUNISTIC DEAL THAT NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO MAKE BECAUSE OF THE TROUBLE CHAPMAN WAS IN.....IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT FACTOR, WITH MORE TEAMS BEING IN THE MIX, CASHMAN, AS USUAL, WOULD HAVE LOST OUT...... THE CASTRO DEAL WAS A GOOD ONE, WE WILL GIVE HIM THAT.

All of the terrible deals of the past aside, this string was pretty shrewdly done, not that I think it was consciously set up. Cash just played the cards he had well.

But, yeah, Anon, all the incredible screwups. Jaysus.

This guy must be about to marry into the Cashman family.

He is picking out a few good cherries from a supermarket of rotten fruit. If he put his article in context ( of Cashman's Yankee career ), I think Cashman would be labeled more " buffoon and fool" than genius.

Nonetheless, I am pleased that someone, somewhere, thinks we have some nascent talent.

I tend to agree on Frazier, by the way. I think he is overly muscle bound for baseball. and, like " Smoking Joe," will lose to anyone who " floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee."

Is it March yet?
