As the whole world now knows, Robbie was so flattered by the invitation to participate in the home run derby ( All Star Game ) that he just couldn't say no. Don't you know.
Robbie is having his best year and this event is like asking Robbie to play in a pick-up basketball game on the hard courts in 103 degree heat.
How many ballplayers have never been the same after standing there and jacking 50 dingers in an hour?
All of them.
Why can't we ever learn anything? Give Youkilis the spot. Get sick.
Don't do this Robbie. You will cause the Yanks' season to devolve into a heap of tar.
