Here's the solution:
1. Clone Mo now, so that Mo II can be available to pitch for the 2035 Yanks. Team lawyers can argue that Mo II is legally under contract to the Yankees during the same period (age 25 to ...).
2. Mo I stays in shape until 2035, when he is demoted to being 8th inning "bridge" to Mo II.
