Tex doesn't want to become a "slap" hitter. as in, slap one down the left field line for a double. Who wants that?
Texeira should be locked in a room and forced to watch this clip.
If he watches it and continues to say "Every time I try to slap balls the other way, it doesn’t go well for anybody" (quoted here), a mid-level Yankee employee should be assigned to slap his head.
Seriously, can't the guy see that it only took one of those for Robbie to remove the shift placed on him?
