Such an honor to have spent a lifetime rooting against the #!$@&! Red Sox.

I miss chanting "1918!" when the red socks were in town. Now I have this stupid grudging respect for them. Good God it sucks. I have, however, been successful suppressing any outward expressions of my deviance.
BTW, lower case anonymous, Keith Olberman trolled this blog a couple years back. (I know it was him.) he's an asshole.
KO has strong opinions; I haven't agreed w/ all of the things he comes up with, but I still admire him, not the least for all the wonderful years he gave us with "Countdown", and for his "Worst Person In the World" feature, which was brilliant, most of the time - - I disagreed strongly with his assessment of Jeter in 2012, but that didn't sway me. If he trolled this blog, that wouldn't sway me, either. Lots of people have done that.
I do realize that KO has sometimes been an "asshole" to some of those close to him - - and to people who tried to bother him when he wanted to be left alone - - but if he's an asshole, he's MY kind of asshole, KD.
I would like to hear more about this alleged "trolling", though, just because it is interesting - - and, who know?? Maybe you would be the one to change my mind. LB (No J)

oh, yeah, I spent several years trolling red sox blogs, back when I was an angry younger man. Now that I'm an angry old man, I no longer have the energy for it. Also, I've come to understand everybody's way more clever than I am so I don't win too many arguments. That's why I was kind of intrigued by the Trump candidacy -- in the first few months -- when he promised we would win so much we'd get tired of it. Everybody's a winner! Like in T Ball, where everybody gets a trophy. Who couldn't get behind that?
(Disclaimer: I am not trying to start an argument. Are we allowed to mention the man's name without pissing half the country off?)
