Florial's wrist is broken forever.
Might just be a " ding " for Bird. Bad bruise. A few days rest.
Might throw his timing off.
Might just bring back last season's Bird who couldn't hit a softball.
Oh well, a decision had to be made at first base anyway, right?
There is a simple truth in play here:
The baseball Gods are tired of Cashman's incompetence and lies, and Hal's cheapness.
The Yankees will be ruined .

LOL, Cashman turned a bag of broken prospects into Didi, Hicks, Britton, Paxton, etc, and you complain?
How exactly is Justus Sheffield a "broken prospect"? And it will take a few seasons to determine where more of these come out. Sure hope we see Hicks in a lineup again sometime.

Justus Sheffield pitched 2,2 MLB innings, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks. Good for a -.1 WAR. It was clearly time to give up on him. Thank goodness Cashman was able to unload him before everyone realised how worthless he was!
