The greatest part of this great Yankee moment is that everyone in Boston/New England hates it and, believe me, I mean HATES it....

I live here and still see it first hand....

Every time I bring it up.....

I WAS FRIENDS WITH A MOUNTED NYC COP YEARS AGO, WHO HAD SADLY PASSED.

HE CLAIMS THE COP THAT LET BOGGS ON THE HORSE GOT IN A LOT OF TROUBLE OVER THAT.

I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS TRUE OR NOT, OR WHAT KIND OF TROUBLE THE COP MAY HAVE BEEN IN, BUT MY FRIEND WAS NOT THE TYPE OF GUY WHO WOULD MAKE UP STORIES.
