I never liked Seinfeld. He was OK as a stand-up. But the show was smug and all the characters ranged from annoying to hateful.

There, I said it. I don't like Larry David, either. So there.

I understand, JM.

I go back and forth. I liked Seinfeld's show most of the time because it was so New York.

But I often found his personality—solipsistic, cynical, obsessive about cleanliness–to be annoying. Same with David. I love half the shows—the Buckner one was great—but I always have to stop watching at some point, because I'm just nauseated. I know he's making fun of his own compulsions—sort of—but I don't want to see it.
