Paul Zuvella hit .222 in 9 big-league seasons.
But Zuvella -- the prospect who sealed Bobby Meacham's fate in a 1987 demotion to Columbus -- is batting .1000 when it comes to prophesizing the Meach's return to the Bronx.
Of the very man whose job he stole, Zuvella said with the conviction of a man foretelling a vengeful return, "it's not the last of Bobby Meacham you're going to see."
How right you were, Paulie Z., son of Stanford U.
How right you were.

Zuvella also forecast the Middle East war and the death of Princess Diana.
There's nothing better to spur a team that hasn't won a title in 7 years on then to bring in the embodiment of 80's futility to coach first base. Is it too late to name Ed Whitson pitching or bullpen coach?
Screw Whitson, I want the bullpen job!
