À la recherche du temps perdu

Friend-of-the-blog Hart Seely wrote a piece in yesterday's Washington Post [registration required]. Remember how good you felt when Paul McCartney started doing Beatles songs again? When Bruce Willis started playing the Die Hard Guy again? When Gary Sheffield started pissing whitey off again? Well, Seely's doing Rumsfeld poetry again!

Washington Post, eh? Not bad, not bad.

Of course, it's not like it's the 83rd most influential sports blog in the whole wide world, now, is it?

Hey, with that kind of influence and prestige, maybe we can get Rummy himself to write for us - as long as he agrees to never use the phrase "endemic inertia."

Although, now that I think about it, Endemic Inertia would be a pretty good name for a punk band.

Stubby's sportscoat and white shirt routine would look perfect with a pair of the desert combat boots worn by the former SecDef. Perfect.

Who is this Hart Seely and what is he really talking about?
