John M, don't you know he's just playing to win? This is an important series. That's why Hicks and Tex started last night. wasn't it a thrill to see Tex take strike three in the ninth? weren't you inspired by Hicks' glove, bat, and base running?

Wrong picture...should have included the Steinbrenner boys and cASSman!!

I find it soooo interesting that the very sam news pundits calling fo rA-rods head on a platter because his production SUCKED!!! are the very same ones complaining on how unacceptable it is that he's not playing -__-.

I'm not here to defend Rodriguez. But his batting average is higher than Hicks' and he has more than twice as many homers in fewer at bats. Why do we have to see Hicks stink it up every night? Baseball has stopped being fun again, except for watching the Mets lose to Arizona.

AGE!!!!!!!!!! that's the difference between hicks and Arod point blank!

Joe only knows what he is told to know. Hence; he says, " there is nothing in my job description about conducting farewell tours."

Really?

Thanks for the insight, Joe.

But A-Rod should get an appearance in each game. The season is over. The old run of fools is about to be over.

Get rid of this guy.

Say what? Joe doesn't conduct farewell tours? Then tell me why Jeter wasn't moved down in the lineup his last season. Please don't piss on my shoes and tell me it's raining. I'm too old for that shit.
