I live six time zones away and could have told you: the weather in NYC would suck tonight! Steinbrenner did this on purpose! What a travesty! And I'll bet you that if the game is postponed they will not invite Alex for the make-up game. I am FURIOUS!!!
SOMEHOW, THE CUT OFF CEREMONY, AND THE GREAT VICTORY, ALL SEEMED TO WORK OUT, ESPECIALLY WHEN AROD'S 2 GIRLS RAN UP AND HUGGED HIM.....AS OUR CROWD WAS CHANTING HIM, ONCE AGAIN I FELT PROUD TO BE A YANKEE FAN, AND EVEN TEXTED MY MET FAN FRIENDS, "ONLY THE YANKEES, ONLY THE YANKEES"
