This could be one hell of a show with every kindergartener in America staying up past bedtime with mom and dad gazing at the lunar eclipse as the Army blows up outer space.
"Mommy, what was that huge fireball?"
"Ah, nothing, Timmy. Let's go inside. Quickly."
Okay, but whose football fields?
I want every global citizen to rest assured that we have no interest in using anything we learn during this attempt to shoot down the rogue satellite in any future space war with China, Russia, or anyone else. This is about protecting innocent people and wildlife from dangerous rocket fuel, and nothing more.
In closing, the president urges the do-nothing Congress to finally pass legislation opening ANWR up to sensible oil drilling operations. Thank you.
Isn't this a plot from Mystery in Space #297?
I think Alex Saviuk or John Statema penciled it and Vince Coletta inked it. But I'm not sure. Maybe it was Terry Beatty.
