To the Editor:
This is in response to C.P. Crisante Jr.'s letter, "Losers, stop crying," on Nov. 22:
First off, we Phillies fans are not crying (after losing the World Series to the Yankees)! Why should we? We were the World Series champs in 2008, then back in the Series again in 2009.
Our Phillies team consists of dedicated, talented, down-to-earth, respectful guys, who appreiciate their fans and don't cry every time things don't go their way. This is unlike Yankee fan Crisante's stuck-up, shallow, heartless, money-grubbing snobs who care only about themselves and how much money the ownership will give them.
I didn't see the wonderful Yankees sell out their stadium for nearly every home game like the Phillies did, especially considering the way our economy is. Yeah, real faithful fans.
As far as Crisante not seeing people wearing Phillies shirts, hats, etc., maybe he was at some backwoods hick mall in New York. There isn't a place that I go where I don't see at least one person wearing "something Phillies" and, as a matter of fact, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers gear, too.
If Crisante is such a Yankees fan, what is he doing living in Gibbstown? Why doesn't he move to New York? Oh, wait. Let me guess. I'll bet he's a Dallas fan, too!

Yep, the Phillies are classy and down-to-earth. Like that Jimmy Rollins and Pedro Martinez. And Charlie Manuel saying Andy Pettitte had "dwindling" stuff. And of course, the Yankees HATE their fans!!!!!
And no one in Pennsylvania/Philadelphia gave a shit about the Phillies until about halfway through the playoffs last year.
