Without Kate, do we also lose Kurt and Goldie... and all our Hollywood friends

You know how breakups work: Friends choose sides.

New York Mag claims Arod & Kate have gone the way of Burt & Dinah, Lee and Farah, Gore & Lieberman... Done. Over. Kaput. Glageed. Moomaville. El Chlamo de Cocca mas fithe'.

Forget Kurt and Goldie, who sat ringside while we dismantled Chase Ugly's team. Snake Pliskin would never back a team that hurt his kid. They're gone. We might get Kate's biological dad, one of the Hudson brothers, who I think now works in Tijuana. The question is collateral damage: Will we will outlying celebrites.

Can't see Jack Nicholson quitting us over a broad. Jack's got priorities. Adam Sandler should stick. Bruce is Bruce. And Tea Leone is a rock. But with Kate running around Beverly Hills badmouthing us in her bikini, we could lose B-list celebs to the Angels. Considering that Hideki will be a one-man ambassador of good will, we might in trouble.

What do we need from Arod? Rebound. Mary-Louise Parker would be nice. He should stay away from those Heroes chicks and definitely from Lady Gaga.
If it's Lady Gaga, we're done. Kaput. Bingled. Swampaloonied.

What would work? Meryl Streep. She'd bring class. She bring her accents. (She can do Jewish, she can do German, a talented lady.) Can we do it?

I've been down lately about losing Lackey to the Redsocks. BRING MERYL STREEP INTO THE FIRST ROW, A-ROD, AND WE'RE BACK. A ring in 2010.

Lady Gaga & A-weird.
Perfect together.

Adding Danish, Polish and Julia Child to Meryl's accents.

Still, she must answer for "Mamma Mia." Are the Yankees prepared to be associated with one of the worst feature films of all time? Would she bring, shudder, Pierce Brosnan?

You spelled Tea's last name wrong: it's Leoni.

Per SUPERFRANKENSTEIN, El Duque is a great blogger and an even better human being, but he is NEVER TO BE CONSULTED ON MATTERS OF SPELLING.

Streep played a nun from the Bronx in "Doubt".

However, her character took away a transistor radio form a boy listening to a Yankee game.

1980's on the phone, they say Meryl Streep is hot !

Seriously, he may as well show up with Liz Taylor or Tammy Fae Baker.

I'm thinking he needs to give Elin some revenge.
