Trenton has advanced to the championship round of the Eastern League.
That means Mr. Playoffs, Andy Pettitte, will take the mound against the winner of the Altoona-Harrisburgh series.
We're betting Altoona, "The Mountain City."
While visiting, Andy can listen to the Altoona Symphony, under the direction of Teresa Cheung, and see for himself the famous Horseshoe Curve. Why is it called the Horseshoe Curve? He'll have to learn by going. He can also tour the Railroaders Memorial Museum, the Mishler Theatre, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, and the Jaffa Mosque.
WHAT THE...? MOSQUE? ALTOONA HAS A MOSQUE? IT BETTER NOT BE NEAR THE BALLPARK! JESUS H. MONTERO!
We're actually going to let Andy Pettitte pitch in a town with a mosque? Why are we taking such a risk? What if something happens? It'll be a stab in the heart.
