Battlin' Bosockers lose nosebleeder but keep 6-game edge over Jays in AL East Bronze medal dogfight

MAGIC NUMBER FOR BEANTOWN BRONZE NOW
THIRTEEN

DATELINE: Oakfranciso _ Team Triumph's tour of the Toned Tit Tropics was touched-off in a troubling tweak of testosterone last night, after gleeful glances revealed the gladiators of gluttony -- the Yanks and Jays -- both botched ballgames, creating a single-game window of opportunity larger than a Tinsel Town twat, which is big enough to hold a million Milky Ways. Alas, dreams die heard.

"A hundred pounds of" Clay Buckholtz couldn't repel the relentless killer A's, conceding 5 runs in less time than it takes to remind people that Youk and Pedo are out for the season, and Papi's off his scary spices. As a result, the Fenway Feebs -- minus Youk and Pedo -- managed but three skillful but fruitless hits.

Fortunately, the Bostoners kept their six-game edge over the Muzlims of Toronto in the racet for Bronze.
