Who's on first? Brigadoon Refsnyder!

From Wikipedia...

Brigadoon is a musical with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, and music by Frederick Loewe. Songs from the musical, such as "Almost Like Being in Love", have become standards. The story involves two American tourists who stumble upon Brigadoon, a mysterious Scottish village that appears for only one day every 100 years. Tommy, one of the tourists, falls in love with Fiona, a young woman from Brigadoon.

Duque, why do you like Refsnyder? Is it just an irrational commitment to a shitty player? Because I totally understand that. No one loved Tanyon Sturze more than I did.

I think Refsnyder is a better hitter than Chris Carter, and if he gets a chance, he will prove it.

If he doesn't get the chance - and let's face it, he probably won't - it will be because the Yankees are paying Carter $3.5 million, and that's what's wrong with the team.

YOU CALLED IT EL DUQUE...... THE REF AT FIRST...... A BETTER CHOICE THAN CHRIS CARTER ANY DAY OF THE WEEK (WHICH ISN'T SAYING MUCH)....THAT RUSTY GATE SWING CARTER HAS IS A RALLY KILLER 99% OF THE TIME...... I RATHER BANK ON THE REF TO AT LEAST MAKE SOME CONTACT WITH RUNNERS ON.

I'm with you, duque - - Ref is much better at the plate, and he gets key walks, too, occasionally (as tonight). He got a lot of bad throws lobbed at him tonight, as well, and he at least knocked them down - - didn't let them bo into the dugout, or the stands (like Carter might have). Give me Ref up there rather than Carter, any day of the week which ends in 'y'. LB (No J)

Ref stinks.
Horace Clarke II.
Walks even less than Carter.

If the guy (Boy Choi, I'll call him ) in Scranton wasn't hurt, he should be the one playing first.

Ref is a key error waiting to happen.

And I seriously doubt that he will overwhelm us with his hitting ability.

This is the big leagues.

Hoping I am wrong.

Love chinese food.

Carter stinks at the plate yes, but I wasn't talking about Carter. There's better options than Refsnyder, who really stinks. Ref is only marginally better than Carter at the plate and is lazy in the field (while Carter has surprised me with his glove). I forget who was batting, but Ref fielded a hot shot from somebody (good), then decided to jog to the bag instead of a)hustling b)flipping it to Severino. He barely made the out. Shit like that is why he's the Brigadoon. At least Joggie, may he rot in hell, could hit .320 with 25 hr's, Ref is a .250 singles hitter and his faults don't get excused by coaches.

Anyways, not knocking you for liking him, I just think the idea he's a quality player is ludicrous.
