At the bottom of the ninth, yesterday, the Yankees had benefitted from a couple of soft singles and a Tampa throwing error.
They had narrowed the score from 5-0 to 5-2, and the tying run was coming up to the plate. The amazing Aaron Boone had reserved his Big Hammer for this very moment. He called upon the heretofore idle Giancarlo Stanton.
Giancarlo is a $30 million a year man. And we own him for several more years. Why?
Because, with one swing of the bat, he can change everything. Tilt a game from one side to the other. Provide a happy ending.
The happiest people in the stadium ( and TV and radio ), when the Big Dude sauntered to the plate, ironically, had to be the Tampa Bay fans. Because, at that big moment, at this career mid-point( I am being kind here ) Stanton could only do one thing.
He would strike out. Three big strokes.
A happy ending, indeed.
No need for a massage parlor when you have this big dog.

So Alphonso, when can we meet those hotties?
Big dildo.
And did anyone notice that, if that ball hit by Bader that parachuted in for a double in the 9th had been caught like it probably should have, then Judge (hitting #2) would've come up with two outs and nobody on base in a 5-0 game, which at bat he would not have had if he had batted #3? WHOOOPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
