In hotly awaited debut, Boston's super-prospect didn't make it out of the second inning

When the creators of the Redsock '17 Hall of Fame Superteam of Destiny finished their trade for Chris Sale, they crowed over craftily keeping top pitching prospect Jason Groome, the 12th overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Yesterday at Single A, Groome walked off the mound in the second inning after giving up nine runs, the team trainer at his side.

Every Homer Sale gives up...Every it The Babe Benintendi makes and every loss by the Redsock '17 Hall of Fame Superteam of Destiny makes me smile with a deep sense of satisfaction...
