John can't produce a 1948 birth certificate, because it doesn't exist.

This is not the Yankee ballclub I grew up with. I don't know if we can ever get it back, but firing John "1938" Sterling would be a good first step.

John Sterling has to come clean to the American public about when he was born, what he knows about when he was born, and when he learned what he knows about when he was born.

John was born on the Fourth of July!

He's a true Yankee Doodle Dandy!

That has to trump any concerns about the year of the blessed event.

JC wasn't even born in Year One, so why should JS's birth-year matter?

Birthers, please go harass Lou Dobbs. I read that he's really a Mexican.

If he doesn't reveal his true birth date, this will ruin the sanctity of the fan-broadcaster relationship.
