Murdoch's First Rule of Journalism: If he's not hitting, you can write anything

Don't know what to make of this one.

You've got two pristine American institutions - the NY Post and ARod - in a death match.

The Post claims ARod was doing the most despicable act yet known to ARod - hitting on women in the stands while the Yankees were losing to Detroit. This surgical strike undermines the last positive virtue that ARod had going for him - the grace he showed after being benched. What a monster. What a creep. What a bunch of speculation.

An anonymous witness says what he thinks happened, based on what he was told by other people who think they saw what happened. But it's A-Rod. He makes too much money. He's a jerk. And he's not hitting.

It's open season on A-Rod. From there, it moves to every Yankee, by a newspaper that loves the team when it wins.

This doesn't end well.
