Why is it called Joker Marchant Stadium?
"The stadium is named after former Lakeland parks and recreation director Joker Marchant, who was instrumental in the construction of the park in the 1960s. A statue of Marchant stands just outside the ballpark to greet fans."
What's with the name Flying Tigers?

The hell is a “slow native”?
I was going for the idea that, if there are flying tigers they tend to get the slow natives.
In retrospect it isn't as clear as I initially thought. I guess I need Spring Training as well. :)
