Jon Miller and Dave Fleming in the Giants' KNBR booth are great. Miller especially. Angels booth was OK. Hate to abandon Suzyn, but unless the opposition broadcast is completely hopeless (a couple fit the description) it's preferable to Shackil/Barberi.

I did exactly the same thing the last few nights/early mornings in Europe. Cannot stand the feverish tone of voice of both, though Shackil is the worst.
One of the side effects of the pitch clock is the limited time that is left to tell a story . Maybe that is why John Sterling left the booth. You can hardly string two sentences together before there is another pitch. They even have to speed read all the commercials. In the KNBR Hawaiian Air booth they solve that by just ignoring the game at some points as long as it only concerns balls and strikes.

It also feels as if Suzy talks way more than she used to do. And less colourful. As if she is trying to make up for the loss of John Sterling and the annoying voices of the aforementioned duo.
Just thinking.

I do not this of the San Francisco Baseball Giants as enemies. But definitely fuck The Angels.
