Sure, it's a ridiculously corrupt international tournament, with the world's worst tiebreaker (penalty kicks is like deciding the World Series by having a fungo-hitting contest), but it will be very heaven compared to this year's Yankees season.

I reverted to Draft Kings, er, I mean Draft Status (remember you're never too old).
Time zones not kind to me this World Cup, but there will be some outdoor viewing spots, so we can catch some games live.
Knicks games impossible, at 2AM here. Feh.
2 AM was a good time to watch TV in the 80s, although a lot of stations went off, you got the Star-Spangled Banner, etc. Eventually, Manhattan cable had public access, Robin Bird, and a whole host of weird shit
