The Case for Bringing Back Pavano

Reasons to sign Pavano:

1. He's clubhouse leader who has earned respect of peers, fans and press.

2. His hard luck is sure to change.

3. No other strategy to replace his average 2 wins per season.

4. Keep Boston from getting him.

5. Teach youngsters to pitch in pain.

6. Send message throughout system that slackers will not be tolerated.

7. Always been big Yankee fan.

8. On first-name basis with Tampa rehab staffers.

9. Potential organ donor.

10. Has disturbing photographs of Cashman.

11. Piss off IT IS HIGH.

Do I have to sit back and wonder whether it would be better to have Pavano or a leaky boat?

And this Peavy character who now "wants in" ( to Yankee riches...guess his 401K must have taken a whack).... he is just like Kevin Brown.
