Yanks Mull Canceling Joe Lieberman's Seats

NEW YORK _ Prominent Yankees are demanding that the team make renegade Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman pay a price for his support for the Arizona Diamondbacks during the recent race.

"What he did was wrong," said Sen. Harry Reid, who has been urged by various members of the team to cancel Lieberman's season tickets, located far down the rightfield foul line.

It's the toughest decision for the Yanks since 2007, when Rudy Giuliani announced that he was caucusing with the Redsocks.

Yankee heiress Hank "Stubby" Steinbrenner said he plans to review the Lieberman situation after he finishes his probe of UFO sightings in the area of Dana Point, Ca., site of the recent MLB meetings.

The anger against Joe Lieberman goes back to 2006. He was not the only Senator who continued to support a forever occupation.

But even then he was unique as a Democrat in going out of his way to taunt those whose support he demanded.
