TOTALLY CRUSHED............. MY TAKES ON MISTAKES MADE BY OUR MANAGER: 1). NOT MAKING TANAKA GO OUT FOR THE 8TH INNING....HE HAD 92 PITCHES AND WAS CRUISING 2). PUTTING BRIAN MCCANN UP TO PINCH HIT WHEN WE JUST NEEDED CONTACT TO PUSH ANOTHER RUN ACROSS. MCCANN WAS SWINGING LIKE A MANIAC AGAINST A GUY THROWING 100 MPH. I COULD ENVISION THE STRIKEOUT HAPPENING, WHY COULDN'T GIRARDI? OF COURSE, MCCANN STRUCK OUT 3). TAKING OUT TOMMY LAYNE AFTER STRIKING OUT THE BATTER HE FACED ON 3 SHARP BREAKING PITCHES....LAYNE HAS A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER BECAUSE BOSTON RELEASED HIM, HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT PITCHING AT LEAST UNTIL SOMEBODY GOT ON BASE.... AND 4). BRINGING IN BLAKE PARKER....PARKER HAS HAD A FEW NICE MOMENTS FOR US RECENTLY...BUT AT HOME....THIS IS FENWAY PARK WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.....THIS WAS THE MOVE THAT SET OFF THE DISASTROUS CHAIN OF EVENTS...............HEY GUYS, WE LOST AN ENTIRE WORLD SERIES IN THE 9TH INNING, IN THE 7TH GAME, UP BY A RUN, WITH THE GREATEST CLOSER IN HISTORY ON THE MOUND, SO THIS GAME ISN'T THE WORST LOSS EVER......BUT IT DID FUCKING HURT.

Was there a reason to take Tanaka out? Is Girardi bringing him back on Sunday, or something?

this was much worse than the WS of 2001 for me. we had no right to be in that except for some ridiculous home runs at the stroke of midnight. this was just awful. girardi needs to go.

Girardi once again proves he's Overmanager of the Year.

Pain. Needless, stupidly caused, pain.

PS...as I said in July, we shoulda traded Betances and kept Miller. Too late now, at least for this season.

Hey, hey, there's no reason why you should bear the entire cost of the trip. I'm sure we can pass the hat around here and at least help you pay for gas.
