One is good and the other sucks

Last night marked the end of the 2016 season for the Yankees.

Tanaka was as good as advertised.  If we still had Miller and the gunslinger, we win that game.  But I am not bemoaning the trades to bring some talent to our farm system, otherwise a neglected crap shoot by Cashman.

Sanchez has exceeded everyone's expectations.  He actually looks and plays like a star.  Judge looks and plays like an overwhelmed rookie who may or may not have a future.  Tyler looks about the same.

The guy that absolutely sucks is a surprise;  Refsnyder.  Whenever he plays, he almost makes a great play, but never does.  His throws are off line, he dives in the rain and just misses the fly ball that goes for a double, and he cannot put the bat on the ball when it matters.  Two times last night, and more times previously, he strikes out with men in scoring position.  Runner on third and one out, Refsnyder is the automatic strike out that keeps the Yanks from scoring additional and critically needed runs.

You can depend upon him failing with the bat in his hands.  And we were told hitting is his strength!

He has no strength.  Send him back to wherever and trade him for another shitty pitcher.

I am done with hoping he will be something.

Gotta agree. But he's far from The Problem. aa the late great Stanley Woodward said, it's like blaming the Johnstown flood on a leaky toilet in Altoona.

YOU KNOW I AM A BIG REFSNYDER FAN....AND HE DID KILL US YESTERDAY....HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO REALIZE HE HAS HELPED US WIN SOME GAMES THIS YEAR, WHEN HE HAS PLAYED...... HE HAS BEEN JERKED AROUND MORE THAN PETER NORTH'S SCHLONG THESE PAST 2 YEARS...... 2ND BASE, 3RD BASE, 1ST BASE, LEFTFIELD, RIGHTFIELD...... HE WILL PLAY 2, MAYBE 3 GAMES IN A ROW, THEN IT'S BENCH TIME FOR 5 GAMES IN A ROW OR MORE (WHETHER HE DOES GOOD OR BAD)..... THEN THE CYCLE REPEATS..... YOU JUST CAN'T DEVELOP LIKE THAT...... WE BLEW OUR CHANCE WITH HIS POTENTIAL LAST YEAR, BY TELLING HIM HE'S NOT OUR 2ND BASEMAN AFTER THE ALL STAR BREAK......ALL IS NOT LOST, AS WE HAVE A GOOD 2ND BASEMAN NOW (AND HE IS YOUNG)........ I PREFER TO BLAME BRIAN MCCANN LAST NIGHT WHO SWUNG HARDER AND HARDER AGAINST JOE KELLY WHO WAS THROWING 100 MPH....NOT GIVING A SHIT ABOUT MAKING CONTACT SO WE COULD SCORE A CRUCIAL RUN LATE IN THE GAME....HE IS A VETERAN...HE SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN THAT.

Alphonso would have been--in fact, probably was--leading the chorus that wanted to run Bernie Williams out of town after his disappointing half-season debut.
