The man who was traded for Jesus hath risen to Trenton, and thy Franchise might be exiled to the West

Michael Pineda, carrying the historical legacy of Brian Cashman in his fanny pack, will start his next game for Double A Trenton.

Meanwhile, there is talk of trading Phil Hughes to San Francisco for a prospect.

Granderson could be three weeks away, A-Rod four. Jeter could follow.

By August 1, the team (barring the inevitable injuries):

Gardner, CF
Jeter, SS
Cano 2B

ARod 3B
Tex 1B
Youkilis/Hafner DH
Granderson LF
Wells/Ichiro RF
Cervelli C

Nix/Nunez/Stewart/Overbay/Adams

Sabathia
Kuroda
Pettitte
Pineda
Phelps/Hughes/Nova
Nuno/WarrenClaiborne
Robertson
Chamberlain
Rivera

Frankly, I would like our chances.

Let's just say it. CC sucks. He may not have meltdowns likes A.J Burnett but he slowly kills the Yanks with a run every inning. Just a fat fucking douche

That offense would still suck.
Too many guys who are past their expiration dates.
