Meaningful vows

In the euphoria of our so far undefeated spring, some members of the editorial board are testing some long forgotten Ju-Ju rules.  One member, anyway.

Thanks for not identifying me--I mean, whomever--as the movie goer. Last night I--he or she--watched Miss Joan Crawford's final film, "Trog," in which the grand dame went up against a cranky caveman!

Trog features a stellar performance by Ms. Crawford. Even better than Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

The desperation seeping from her pores was breathtaking.

does Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime count if I watch at a friend's house?

On a tangential note, when John Sterling was on WMCA years ago, and the NY Giants had a 6-0 preseason on the way to a 1-12-1 regular season, he made his listeners, at the end of the season, take a vow never to give credence to exhibition games. As I take my vows serious-like, I have continued to adhere to this one.
