It was nice hearing John call a game today. The Daily News reported this tidbit today as well: “John Sterling may see things clearer now. Word is he underwent successful cataract surgery in the offseason.”

If they ever drop him, the tsunami of hashtags, protests, sit-ins and tweetstorms will shake that organization to its Ortiz-embedded-in-the-concrete foundation.

Do you think his inability to see had something to do with all of his missed calls?

Is it possible we started a blog because John couldn't see, rather than he just didn't see?
