They played Gary Glitter over the PA system for a home run. Those were the days.
I was at the Reggie! bar game, which was amazing.
I was also at Steve Trout's Stadium debut as a Yankee. In which he pitched phenomenally well, considering. He went six scoreless, allowed three hits, struck out six.
It was also Ball Day. I kid you not.
It was a close game, but as I remember the Yanks started to break it open late. KC, I think, went to change pitchers. Everyone's a little bored. First one ball get thrown on the field, then another and another and...
Don't know if they ever had Ball Day again. Steve Trout was very lucky that was his best game ever as a Yankee.
