I was at that game. Very frustrating experience. As I recall, it was the around the time the umpires just started acting weird. Don't know if it was about their contract dispute or what, but everybody was already on edge late in the game because the home plate ump had just decided to start calling balls and strikes on a random basis.

Very depressing outcome. Then when Colon shut them down the next game, I thought they were really in trouble. But that great (other) Duque game, Wells' amazing game in a rabid Cleveland park, and then Manny turning the wrong way on Jeter's ball off the wall...

That team was invincible.
