It isn't a cookbook! It's a prophecy!!

So, in their last 9 games, your New York Yankees have been shutout twice, scored one measly run in a third game...and have now scored 6, 15, and 15 in Milwaukee.

JOHN WAS RIGHT! THERE REALLY IS NO PREDICTING BASEBALL! HE WAS TRYING TO TELL US BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE!!!

AA,

Like Yogi, The Master never said half the things he said.

John as Nostradamus or maybe a Kabbalah seer or, for Bowie fans, Joe the Lion (a couple of drinks on the house and he was a fortune teller...nail me to my car and I'll tell you who you are)(always loved the Chris Burden reference there).

The Yankees will be without Alex Verdugo for at least the start of this upcoming four-game series against the Baltimore Orioles, as the lefty-hitting outfielder has been placed on the paternity list

As a corresponding move on the active roster, the team has decided to go with three catchers for the next couple of days or so, activating Carlos Narváez to join Austin Wells and José Trevino as options behind the dish. The 40-man roster is a bit limited at the moment due to non-60-day IL injuries to the likes of DJ LeMahieu, Oswald Peraza, Jorbit Vivas, and the currently-rehabbing-in-Somerset Jon Berti. So this is the short-term solution. If Narváez gets into a game, it’ll be his MLB debut.

Curious as to why they would promote Narvaez, good glove, bad bat. 3 catchers? Why? They really don’t know what they’re doing, do they?

I’ll be ecstatic with a split of this series. but I don’t see it coming. Probably 1-3, but a BALT sweep can’t be discounted.

@BTR…from another article:

Narváez has also seen some limited time at the infield corners, which could give him more opportunity to get into a game before Verdugo comes back. He’s currently hitting .211/.376/.342 at Triple-A this year, walking in 18.8% of his plate appearances.

Judge in left, the new guy in center.

Thank you Ranger, that makes more sense if they can slot him in at 1B.

Alex Verdugo currently makes $8.7 million a year. But, you know, you can't expect him to plot these pregnancies around the SIX MONTHS he does not have to work.

Fuckin hate Stanton, he doesnt do aanything the yankees REALLY need.

Glass man just tore down the line trying to beat out an infield hit.

It almost made me forget he needs a walker.

I hope Sevy wins the CY this year.

And I hope The Intern is paying attention.

If you are within the sound of my voice, FUCK YOU!

They showed as much energy as a potted plant.

The roster is so well constructed, there is no better choice available to pinch hit for the career .214 hitter in the ninth.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I had to miss tonight’s game.

I’d say the better team won

15 runs or nothing.
