It's surprisingly okay, if a bit weird. Anyway, MLB now makes you watch commercials on those in between innings, as though they are not making enough on every other level or platform. I am so sick of it.

Yes, "It's a business. Get over it." But guess what? It's also a drag. I have a distinct memory of - at some point in my youth - was it the late 60s or the early 70s? - when more than two commercials in a row shocked me. That was my first inkling that I was being used bigly, as some asshole once said. Exploited. And there were ad men in my family. I worked once, in another lifetime, in PR and advertising. Fuck them all. And then the internet came along where - SoylentGreen-like - WE became the fucking product. It's unseemly after a while.

Just like having politicians PRETEND to not be greedy racists, at least PRETENT that it's a game, that you care about the fans. Just PRETEND.
