I was getting "Failed to publish comment - try again later" much of the time in the last few weeks. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Driving me nuts. Wanted to smash my laptop into smithereens with a medieval bar mace. Here is an example of a 4 1/2 lb monster: https://www.atlantacutlery.com/bar-mace And then throw the bits out the window.

Fixed the issue today by deleting this site's bookmark from my browser favorites. Then clearing my cookies. When I came back to the site, the problem was finally gone.

Alternatively, you can use a different browser like Firefox instead of google chrome. That method also worked for me.

I hate fucking technology. It can save a lot of time and is convenient for certain things. But sometimes stupid things irritate you and drive you fucking insane.
