Dept of Meaningless Perspectives: If it were one league, the Yankees would be in trouble

Sixth best record in baseball. Don't get me wrong. Not complaining. Just didn't realize we were running behind the Pirates, Cubs and Dodgers.

Limited interleague play means comparison of records of AL and NL teams is meaningless. KC has a better record than the Yankees but plays a weaker schedule.

What's more concerning is that Toronto, Baltimore, and Tampa are all close to the Yankees and may well be playing below their ability.
