You're not telling the whole story.

TO GET EDWAR, WE HAD TO SACRIFICE BASAK.

The whole story doesn't taste quite as sweet as your sugar-coated half-truths.

Dear Brian,

Thanks , so much, for responding so promptly to my letter.

If Mr. President had done the same, we wouldn't be in Iraq, the economy would have positive trade balances, we would have no defecits by now, universal health care would be in place for all US citizens, our schools would be leading the world once again in science, technology, math and engineering, we would be well on the way to curing numerous
" incurable " diseases due to stem cell research breakthroughs, and we would have some hope of saving the planet.

But that is for another day.

You, Brian, may have saved the Yankees by bringing up this fine young man whom, as I understand it, we rescued from the scrap heap of independent baseball leagues.

He debuts tonight, I imagine. Everyone will be watching and Brian, no matter how he performs, we shall be cheering you.

- Alphonso

P.S. I am not, contrary to ugly rumor, his agent.
