This winter, as usual, Syracuse has sloshed out to a commanding lead. The Salt City - winner of the last 10 Golden Snowballs - stands five inches ahead of plucky Rochester and six above Buffalo, which received national attention from a televised Bills game in December. Nevertheless, we're running three inches behind our normal pace - and 19 below last year.
Right now, we are in our two-minute drill, putting up some numbers. I am peering out my window and not even seeing a street.

Aww, I'm in the Utica area! We deserve representation! Fortunately we probably didn't get more an a foot so far this year. Living in the Mohawk Valley a lot of it passes us right by.
