I have to admit, it is nice seeing the team play great D.

And Gio punching through the key hit, swinging at that pitch like a man fighting off a cloud of gnats. Plus another win for the pen under CollBull W/L, putting them at, I think, 11-13 for the season.

Somehow, we seem to be thriving in this awful baseball weather, too. Is all this rain and cold depressing our opponents? But then, the Yanks also played pretty well in California.

I'm beginning to have weirdly optimistic thoughts about this year. Still...pitching.

And how IS it that the British libertarian right cleaves to Fawkes, the agent of (what was then) a despotic, foreign religion, looking to blow up an elected Parliament and set off a reign of murderous religious persecution? Didn't Fawkes have more in common with Osama bin Laden than Adam Smith?
