No, no, no, no, NO, NO, NOOOOOOOOOO!

How to ruin an otherwise wonderful day. Thank you, Rupert Murdoch.

By the way, I refuse to link to this horrible story.

We need more retreads. The hungry guys who got us to this point over the past six weeks are nothing to Casholo The Magnificent. He alone can fix this team. He alone knows the true way. He alone is the reason we have won so many titles in the last ten years. His team is now returning from the IL. Let's get rid of these fuckers while their value is high. Let's monetize these no-name schmucks. On Stanton, on Tulo, on Paxton and Blitzen!!!

This ties in very well with the last post.

Unlike us, who rather like that three-eyed raven warging dude can apparently affect nothing and do nothing, George King actually has access to Coops, and a readership of, well, at least the tens of hundreds.

Which is a shame. For like most sportswriters, he's not all that bright and lazy as an old dog on an August afternoon.

According to King, Frazier is "blocked" by...Stanton, a full-time DH, if ever there were one.

By Brett Gardner, who will be gone by the end of the year, at the latest.

By Estevan Florial, who has never played above A-ball, and spent most of the last two years on the DL.

By the whole Yankees OF, which can't go a week without a tweak.

And, of course, he should be traded for a declining, veteran pitcher, to give us a one-time shot at a ring.

Right, good thinking. Hey, George, the bar's open. C'mon, boy! C'mon! That's a good boy..."

"George King actually has access to Coops." Does anyone believe that King's column is telegraphing Cashman's murk of ideation (I hesitate to call it "thinking"), or is it just King reconfirming the basic truth that there is no difference in intelligence between a daily beat writer and a host/caller at WFAN?

I WOULDN'T TRADE FRAZIER FOR BUMGARNER EVEN UP! (AND I WANT MADBUM)!

NO!...NO FK'N WAY.....

FRAZIER HAS TO BE PART OF OUR OUTFIELD, ALONG WITH JUDGE, FOR THE NEXT 10-15 YEARS.

UNLESS COOP DECIDES TO RE-UP WITH GARDY FOR ANOTHER YEAR?....

HOW NUTS WOULD THAT BE?

YOU NEVER KNOW WITH "CRAZY COOP".

Stanton's rehab is postponed due to tightness in his calf. I just hope it was a fatted one.

Trading Frazier would be nuts. Jack Curry was just talking about how Cashman wanted to get him because of his "dynamic bat."

Fuck this guy.

And fuck that guy!

If they were to trade Frazier, I want it to be for something better than a rental like Bumgarner. But then again, that's how we got him and it's how the baseball trading scene works. Rape the needy contending teams of all their top prospects.

Sadly I'm thinking his value is more down to the level of Refsnyder and he's just not worth a whole lot. I doubt we could get Bum without tossing in 2 other prospects, which we really don't have right now, unless it's Florial which they shouldn't even consider to trade off.

Anyway, I'm expecting a huge Yanks loss tonight. They are due for one of those typical embarrassing O's blowout, like 14-1 and CC is indeed on the mound. I am starting to think he'll never get his 250th win...

CC blows. Gio Gonzales is killing it for the Brewers but the Yanks had no space for him because apparently it's still 2009.

They'll lose this game, it's reminiscent of a game CC pitched in 2017 when he was charged with holding a 6 run lead, he and Betances combined to lose the game. This is the game where Machado hit a walk off homerun and I had a total meltdown here.

They are so desperate to suck CC's balls that they'll actively pursue a losing strategy in and out of games.

I'll take Carlton over Gio any day.

He's good for 4 innings at best and get smacked around after 1 time through the order. He should be in the bullpen. If that was Happ, Boone would have gone to the bullpen before the 5th ball that was scorched that inning. If Gardner hadn't thrown the guy out at home he would still be out there, and Boone would be on the bench reasoning they might score 20 runs in the top of the 6th to regain the lead and put CC in line for the win.

Hold onto your seats, ladies and germs. Chad Green is in.

Silly Vampi—don't you know we never lose? Not in Baltimore, anyway.

Leaving CC in WAS ridiculous. But somehow, it worked out. Nice play by Gardy, making a bid for his baseball life.

Well that was fun. Gotta give John a scare every once in a while.
