Soon, Austin Wells, and several other Yankees, will be batting below .100.
Kudos to the new hitting coach, hired by Boone.
The "Medoza Line" became the term for batters hitting under .200.
How should we describe what Wells (and soon others ) will be achieving?
This is all virgin territory for baseball.
A level of incompetence never anticipated.
Ideas?

Hal’s Hondos!
Exactly, Alphonso. And it's killing the game, along with the Yankees.
I turned on the game this evening, after searching through the many possible channels my team could be on.
Sox were pitching a rookie. His first game ever.
DJ struck out, on a pitch out of the strike zone. Judge walked. Torres hit a big, lazy fly to center. Cantrun—now at .198—popped to second.
I turned it off. I can't stand to see baseball like this. It's like watching spring training games all year long.
Call it what it is -- the ANALytics line.
Love it, Rufus!
Or maybe the "O Line"?
If batting in the .100’s is the interstate, then dipping below that is getting off the interstate at the wrong exit.
Can they please trade Jogginson Torres tonight?
The Santonian Canyon?
The Austin-Dixon Line?
The Highway to Hell?
The Negative Mass-Energy Equivalence?
One Step Beyond?
Chiller Theater?
The Harder They Come Line?
Backdoor to Hell?
I must stop.
How about the "Kill Me Now Line?"
A Chorus Line?
Who’s this Kahnle guy? I don’t recognize him…he’s getting outs…
The Yankee Line (up).
Yankees win…
Well, hey, they won. Always good to beat the Red Sox. But that's about it by way of cheer.
Rortvedt line. Gotta be.
He's the next step down from Mendoza.
JM,
Only if we can shorten it to the R line. Sum uv us kant spel, evven widout uh fukked upp naim.
Or maybe deliberately misspelling it to the rotten line?
I believe the new term, shouted in a full-throated roar, should be, ahem:
"You're a cankerous whore, you fucking shitface fucker."
The YOU'RE A CANKEROUS WHORE, YOU FUCKING SHITFACED FUCKER!! line.
The Wells Drink line. Every time he bats, you need a Well Drink...
Speaking of the Mendoza line, The Yankees have batted two batters hitting under The Mondoza line, cleanup. Can anybody name them?
Wells and Glassman are two. I'd think there were more than those two.
